Transparency
Venues often say "₱30,000 minimum spend" — but the fine print reads "excluding service charge." Your actual spend: ₱33,600.
How to avoid: Ask explicitly: "Is the ₱X minimum inclusive of service charge and all taxes?" Get written confirmation.
At some venues, mixers (juice, soda, ice) are charged separately from bottle service at ₱500–₱1,500 per mixer. Not mentioned at booking.
How to avoid: Ask: "What is included in the table setup?" specifically asking about mixers.
You book a specific section, arrive, and are told your reserved table "had an issue" — a new one is available for ₱5,000 extra minimum. This is a upsell tactic.
How to avoid: Get your table number in writing at booking. Reference it on arrival. Don't upgrade without comparing to your original confirmation.
The Instagram-perfect bottle sparkler delivery? Sometimes billed as ₱500–₱2,000 extra at premium venues.
How to avoid: Ask when ordering: "Is the sparkler service included or charged separately?"
Scam Watch
Fake Concierge Table Access
Men outside clubs offering "guaranteed VIP table access" for a cash fee paid directly to them. Not official, not refundable. The club has no record of it.
Minimum Spend "Reset" After Midnight
At a small number of venues, entering after midnight triggers a new minimum spend on the same table. Very rare but reported in ARIA sessions.
Fake Reservation Confirmation
Phishing messages pretending to be from popular clubs confirming a table at a "special price." Always book through official channels. ARIA concierge uses verified direct contact only.
