VIP Table Minimum Excludes Service Charge
A ₱30,000 minimum spend at Embassy becomes ₱33,600 with 12% service charge. Always confirm what the minimum includes.
How to avoid: Ask at booking: "Is the ₱X minimum inclusive of service charge and taxes?"
Fake "VIP Host" Upgrade
Men near the entrance offering table upgrades or "special access" for a cash fee. Not official, not refundable.
How to avoid: Book directly through the venue's official WhatsApp or website. ARIA concierge can do this for you.
Drink Minimum Per Person at Walk-In
Some clubs apply a per-person drink minimum even for walk-in guests who didn't book a table. Can be ₱500–₱1,000 per person.

Most Common Overcharges
Cover Charge After Entry
Some budget P. Burgos clubs wave you through for free then present a bill for a "welcome drink" you didn't order. Counter: ask at the door "Is there any charge to enter tonight?" before stepping in.
Table Reserved in Wrong Section
You're quoted a ₱15,000 minimum for a "VIP table" and assigned a corner spot behind a pillar with no sightline. Ask for a table map and confirm section before committing.
Premium Alcohol That Isn't
Local spirits poured from imported-branded bottles. At premium clubs this is rare. At budget P. Burgos clubs, ask for sealed bottles to be opened in front of you.
